We continue our 'Clinical Anaerobic Bacteriology' webinar series with Dr Alida CM Veloo, Researcher at University Medical Center Groningen.
Our commitment
Small enough to care, big enough to deliver
DWS is an independently owned business that is unique for its perfect equilibrium: big enough to deliver cutting-edge, large-scale solutions, yet small enough to provide personalised, responsive customer care.
Sample Collection
eSwabs
DWS is an authorised distributor for COPAN's Liquid Based Microbiology (LBM) range. eSwab® is the only liquid-based, multipurpose collection and transport system that maintains the viability of aerobic, anaerobic and fastidious bacteria for up to 48 hours at room and refrigerator temperature (GC up to 24h). We also supply the eNAT® swab.
New and Improved
Whitley AtmoGen
With fresh, modern graphics, bespoke software, and optional dual gas input, the Whitley AtmoGen can generate multiple atmospheres - anaerobic, microaerobic and capnophilic – still in the most convenient, rapid and cost-effective way.
Now covering an even wider range!
Temperature Mapping
DWS is accredited by UKAS to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for temperature calibration within the range -90°C to 650°C. Having previously only being able to calibrate up to 140°C, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver our service over an extended temperature range.
Microbiology Laboratory
Contract Microbiology Services
Our team of microbiologists, with experience in industrial, pharmaceutical and clinical areas, operates within our purpose-built laboratories. Reflecting the company’s product range, we have the skills and equipment to culture diverse aerobic, anaerobic and microaerophilic bacteria.
