The Whitley Incubation Box: An Emergency Extra Capacity Measure

What if there is a sudden and unexpected rise in the number of samples to incubate in anaerobic or microaerobic conditions? Your Whitley Workstation is at capacity despite the large volume of space. You have access to a traditional incubator but need to ensure appropriate atmospheric conditions are maintained to avoid organism degradation. What do you do?

The Whitley Incubation Box is a transparent, stackable jar that saves valuable space inside incubators. This new jar allows for anaerobic or microaerobic conditions to be generated using a Whitley Jar Gassing System or gas generating kits. They nest inside each other whilst empty and without the lids while in storage and are designed to stack on top of each other when sealed, saving space when compared to traditional jars. The transparent case provides you with the ability to check on your samples without removing them.

The Incubation Box is a simple, safe and cost effective back up strategy to have in place when outlining your disaster recovery plan. Something we have already begun to see within the UK.
